When VTEC first launched, our training strategy focused on equipping veterans with the skills they needed and providing on-the-job training in areas where they required additional support. Veterans and non-veterans alike joined the program to complete their training, fulfill work orders, and develop their expertise to offer repair services for our partners. However, early challenges with performance and unclear skill assessments led us to rethink and improve our approach.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought its challenges but also provided valuable insights into the changing landscape of training. After reassessing the team, we identified Mr. Bierck Saxton, an honorably discharged Army veteran, as the ideal leader for our new training initiative. His technical skills, customer service abilities, and leadership made him the perfect fit. This led us to design a more robust training methodology, incorporating soft skills, classroom instruction, virtual reality, on-the-job supervision, and independent work completion.

In 2023, under the leadership of our executive team and with Mr. Saxton at the helm of training, we successfully launched this new approach. Despite facing financial hurdles as a nonprofit, the program has demonstrated great success. To continue empowering veterans and expand our reach, we are now focused on fundraising.

A soldier who served their country should never have to pay for training as they transition back into civilian life. Help us make this a reality.

Your tax-deductible donation to the Veterans Training & Empowerment Center will ensure that veterans and soldiers transitioning out of the military receive the training they need at no cost. Your support will help us establish training centers on military bases and technical schools, enabling veterans to take control of their economic futures while continuing to serve the citizens of the United States in new ways.

Our primary mission is clear. We will create a training program that will assist America in building a more robust workforce. A financially sound workforce composed of personnel with integrity, work ethics, honesty, and teamwork.
