Why is our training needed?

Tesla Inc. is a company that has revolutionized the renewable energy industry with its innovative technology and sustainable vision. Founded in 2003 by Elon Musk, Tesla has grown to become one of the most influential companies in the world. As of January 2024, Tesla Inc. has a market capitalization of $685.22 billion. This makes Tesla the 9th most valuable company in the world by market cap. Here are ten reasons why Tesla has been a significant change in the renewable energy industry and how our Tesla training center will create jobs in each of these areas.

1. Electric Vehicles (EVs) – Tesla’s first product was the Roadster, an all-electric sports car that went into production in 2008. The Roadster showed that electric vehicles could be practical and desirable, and paved the way for Tesla’s other EVs, such as the Model S, Model X, and Model 3. Today, Tesla is one of the leading EV manufacturers in the world, with its vehicles known for their long-range, high-performance, and advanced features.

  2. Tesla Roadside Support Technician
  3. Tesla Start (Tesla Vehicle Repair)

2. Battery Technology – Tesla’s EVs are powered by advanced lithium-ion batteries, which are also used in its stationary energy storage products, such as the Powerwall and Powerpack. Tesla’s battery technology has been a significant change in the renewable energy industry, enabling greater adoption of renewable energy sources like solar and wind by providing a way to store and use the energy they generate.

3. Solar Energy – In 2016, Tesla acquired SolarCity, a solar panel manufacturer and installer, and integrated it into its business. Tesla’s solar products include solar panels, solar roofs, and the Solar Inverter, which converts the DC electricity generated by the solar panels into AC electricity that can be used in homes and businesses. By combining solar energy with Tesla’s battery technology, customers can have a completely sustainable energy system that can power their homes and EVs.

  2. Tesla Powerwall Installer
  3. Tesla Powerwall Connector Installer
  4. Tesla Mega Installer

4. Storage – Tesla’s Powerwall and Powerpack energy storage products enable customers to store excess energy generated by their solar panels or other renewable sources, such as wind turbines. This stored energy can then be used during periods of high demand or when the sun is not shining or the wind is not blowing, reducing reliance on fossil fuels.

5. Supercharging Network – One of the biggest barriers to EV adoption has been the lack of charging infrastructure. Tesla has addressed this issue by building a network of Supercharger stations around the world, which can provide up to 170 miles of range in just 30 minutes of charging. This network has made long-distance travel in an EV possible and has helped to dispel range anxiety among potential EV buyers.

6. Autopilot – Tesla’s Autopilot system uses advanced sensors, cameras, and algorithms to enable semi-autonomous driving. While not yet fully self-driving, Autopilot can assist with tasks such as steering, braking, and acceleration, making driving safer and more efficient. Autopilot is also constantly improving through over-the-air software updates, which Tesla sends to its vehicles.

7. Gigafactories – To scale up the production of its EVs and batteries, Tesla has built several large-scale manufacturing facilities called Gigafactories. These factories use advanced automation and robotics to produce EVs and batteries at a lower cost and with greater efficiency than traditional manufacturing methods. Tesla currently has three Gigafactories in operation, with plans to build more in the future.

8. Open-Source Patents – In 2014, Tesla made a bold move by announcing that it would open-source all its patents related to electric vehicles and their components. This decision was aimed at encouraging other companies to develop their own EVs and advance the industry, rather than hoarding technology for competitive advantage.

9. Vertical Integration – Tesla’s approach to manufacturing is highly vertically integrated, meaning that it produces many of its own components in-house rather than relying on suppliers. This allows Tesla to have greater control over the quality and cost of its products, as well as the ability to innovate and iterate quickly.

10. Environmental Impact – Finally, Tesla’s contribution to the renewable energy industry cannot be fully appreciated without considering its environmental impact. By promoting the adoption of EVs and renewable energy sources, Tesla is helping to reduce the world’s dependence on fossil fuels and mitigate the effects of climate change. Additionally, Tesla has committed to using sustainable materials in its products, such as recycled metals and plant-based fabrics.

We are working with Tesla directly to create jobs for each of the points above across the United States.

Overview OF Courses:

Our classes were developed to provide the technician with real life experiences in the EV industry, in which they will be able to provide services for multiple EV

partners. This approach allows the soldier/trainee to practice their skills in real-life scenarios. They will be given a variety of tasks and assignments to evaluate their skills level and determine additional training needed. They will be required to demonstrate their knowledge of these skills by completing a written exam, an onsite break and fix test and receive a customer rating of 4.5 or higher during their training program.
