Our Mission is Clear

At the Veterans Training Empowerment Center (VTEC), we are proud to offer our training programs at no charge to soldiers transitioning out of the military, veterans, National Guard, Reserve members, and their immediate families. This is made possible through the generous support of grants, donations, and the relentless efforts of our executive team in securing funding to sustain and grow these initiatives.

While the classes are provided at no cost to participants, there are significant costs involved in delivering and expanding these programs. These costs include:

  • Training Materials: Providing up-to-date resources, tools, and manuals.

  • Instructor Fees: Hiring highly qualified trainers to ensure quality education.

  • Facilities and Equipment: Securing training spaces and maintaining equipment for hands-on learning.

  • Transportation and Lodging: Assisting participants when necessary.

  • Certification Fees: Covering the cost of industry-recognized certifications for participants.

  • Administrative Costs: Supporting program management, outreach, and coordination.

Additionally, as we work to expand and enhance our programs, additional costs include:

  • Location Expansion: Opening new training centers to serve more communities.

  • Technology Upgrades: Investing in advanced tools and systems to improve training quality.

  • Adding Additional Instructors: Expanding our instructor team to meet growing demand.

  • Curriculum Development: Creating new training programs and enhancing existing ones.

  • Partnership Development: Building relationships with organizations to provide more opportunities for our participants.

  • Job Placement: Ensuring every participant has access to meaningful employment opportunities after training.

  • App Development: Creating an app to connect graduates with job opportunities tailored to their skills.

  • Marketing and Outreach: Raising awareness about our programs and growing our community support.

  • Administrative and Operational Support: Maintaining the infrastructure required to sustain our programs.

  • Expanding Military Family Support Programs: Introducing new initiatives like our Legacy Pathways Program and Home Heroes Support Program to support the immediate families of fallen soldiers and assist senior and service-disabled veterans.

We also utilize alternate funding resources such as WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act), and we are actively working to add the GI Bill as a funding option to further expand access to our programs. Despite these costs, we remain committed to keeping the program free for participants because we believe in empowering our heroes and their families without adding financial burdens. However, to continue providing these vital services and expanding our reach, we need your help.

If you are signing up for a class, please take a moment to share our information with others. Your support in spreading the word helps us grow our program, build new partnerships, and gain the backing we need to serve even more members of the military community. Together, we can make a lasting impact and ensure that no servicemember or their family member is left without the tools to succeed.

Thank you for being part of our mission to empower those who have served.
