**“As a husband and father of three, and after 20 years of active-duty service as a Cavalry Scout (19D) in the U.S. Army, most of which was spent at Fort Benning, I knew I needed a new path forward. I chose the Veteran Training Empowerment Center (VTEC) because of the wide range of skills it provides.

Through VTEC, I gained valuable training in plumbing installation, technical diagnostics, innovative troubleshooting, and practical problem-solving. These skills now allow me to continue serving the Columbus–Phenix City communities with professionalism, integrity, and timely service.
