We are excited to officially announce the partnership between the Veterans Training Empowerment Center (VTEC) and Georgia Piedmont Technical College (GPTC). Through this collaboration, we are offering two specialized training programs: the Tesla Energy Solutions Training and the Home Engineer Training Program. These programs are specifically designed to prepare transitioning soldiers, veterans, and their families for high-demand careers in the growing energy and home services sectors.

About the Partnership
VTEC is committed to empowering veterans, transitioning soldiers, and their families by providing hands-on, career-focused training. With the support of Georgia Piedmont Technical College, we are offering industry-leading instruction and certification in Tesla's cutting-edge energy technologies and comprehensive home engineering skills.

  1. Tesla Energy Solutions Training: This program trains participants in the installation and maintenance of Tesla’s innovative energy products, including Wall Chargers, Powerwalls, solar panels, and solar roofs. Participants will gain the technical skills required to thrive in the renewable energy sector, a rapidly growing field with abundant career opportunities.

  2. Home Engineer Training Program: This program equips participants with essential skills in areas such as plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and appliance repair, preparing them for roles in residential and commercial property maintenance and installation. The curriculum focuses on hands-on experience, ensuring that graduates are fully prepared to enter the workforce as home engineers.

Why This Partnership Matters
The collaboration between VTEC and Georgia Piedmont Technical College offers a unique opportunity to serve the military community, providing high-quality education and job-ready skills that lead directly to employment. Our shared goal is to ensure that all participants leave the programs equipped with certifications and expertise that set them up for successful careers. This partnership allows us to serve the broader community while supporting our veterans and their families.

Looking Ahead
Our partnership with Georgia Piedmont Technical College is only the beginning. As we expand these programs across Georgia and beyond, we aim to bring additional training opportunities that align with the evolving needs of both industries and military personnel transitioning into civilian careers. Together, we are building pathways to meaningful, sustainable employment, empowering our participants to thrive in their post-military lives.

We are confident that, together, we will make a significant impact on the lives of the veterans, soldiers, and families we serve.
