Daniel Beardsley - SSG

Daniel Beardsley served 12 years in the Army as a Cavalry Scout. The last 3 years as a Drill Sergeant. He enrolled into VTEC to start another career and become a great teacher and technician in Columbus, Georgia.

Lassell Crooks - SGT

I joined the Army in May 2016 as an 11B. I’ve been stationed in South Korea, Texas, Hawaii, and Georgia. I’ve been in the service for 8 years in active duty. This upcoming year I’ll be switching to the reserve component as a 25B settling in Savannah, GA. The area is beautiful and about 40 minutes away from the nearest beach. After graduating from the VTECH program my next plan is to become a GI-Tech technician.

Ernesto R. Perez - SFC

My name is SFC Ernesto R. Perez. I was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. I enlisted in the United States Army on 3 August 1995 and completed Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. I attended Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sam Houston, Texas for MOS 68W Combat Medic. My first duty assignment was Fort Bragg, North Carolina with the 261st ASMB where I deployed twice.

Michael Montano - SFC

Michael Montano, originally from Columbus, GA, is a skilled technician at Gi Tech. A Veteran Training Empowerment Center (VTEC) graduate, Michael brings a wealth of experience from over 20 years of service in the U.S. Army, where he served as a Military Police Officer. His distinguished military career includes four tours in the Middle East, demonstrating his dedication, resilience, and commitment to excellence. Today, he applies his disciplined approach and technical expertise to contribute to Gi Tech’s success, embodying the values of leadership and service in all his professional endeavors.

Thomas Warren -SGT

Sgt Warren Thomas joined the Army in January 2021 and served 4 years Active Duty as an Infantryman. He has played a pivotal part in his role as a team leader and operations NCO, and has graduated from several Army schools including Airborne and Air Assault. After his Active Duty Army career, he's moving  plan back home to St. Louis, Missouri while continuing to serve in the National Guard.

William Mestas -SGT

I served for 5 years as an infantryman in the US Army. I spent the first 3 years of my contract in Vilseck, Germany before moving to Fort Moore, GA. In Germany I was FORCECOM before moving to TRADDOC for the last 2 years of my contract. I am permanently residing locally to Fort Moore, and I am now working with GI Techs.

Justin Stanley - SSG

SSG Stanley completed the VTEC program and is moving to Arizona in January to service customer for Gi-Techs.

Tesla Wall Connector & Universal Training

Christopher Hood - Veteran United States Air Force

Mr. Hood is set to graduate from the Tesla Wall Charger & Universal Training Program on November 14, 2024. With his specialized training, he will soon begin installing Tesla Wall Chargers and a range of other EV chargers across Georgia, bringing reliable and efficient charging solutions to residential and commercial clients. His expertise will contribute to the state’s growing EV infrastructure, supporting sustainable energy goals while providing essential services to Georgia’s EV owners. Mr. Hood’s commitment to excellence and cutting-edge technology positions him as a valuable asset in the expanding field of electric vehicle support.

Micah Sanders - Civilian

Mr. Sanders, a recent graduate of the VTEC Home Engineer program, has joined Gi-Techs, where he now delivers expert support and services throughout the metro Atlanta area. With his comprehensive training from VTEC, Mr. Sanders is equipped to handle a range of technical challenges, contributing high-quality service and building strong relationships with clients across the region.
