In a landmark achievement for military workforce development, the Veterans Training Empowerment Center (VTEC) has secured $55 million in grants over the next ten years. This funding will provide no-cost training to soldiers transitioning out of the military, veterans, National Guard members, reservists, and the immediate families of both current and fallen service members.

A key aspect of this initiative is ensuring that training remains completely free for eligible participants. Through partnerships with leading technology companies, VTEC will provide hands-on training, certification programs, and direct job placement opportunities. By removing financial barriers, this funding guarantees that those who have served, along with their families, can successfully transition into sustainable and lucrative careers.

A Commitment to Military Families

 

Recognizing the sacrifices made by service members and their families, VTEC is also extending its training programs to the immediate family members of fallen soldiers through its Legacy Pathways Program. This initiative honors their service by providing educational opportunities that can lead to career stability and financial independence.

Looking Ahead

 

This investment reinforces VTEC’s commitment to military workforce development by expanding training opportunities and industry partnerships. Over the next decade, the organization will enhance its training centers, integrate state-of-the-art technology into its curriculum, and further solidify industry relationships to ensure long-term success for program graduates.

Additionally, VTEC will expand to 20 new military installations, adding certified trainers, personnel, equipment, and other essential resources to enhance its training programs. This expansion will enable VTEC to reach and support more military personnel and their families nationwide.
