This collaboration marks a major milestone in our mission to prepare transitioning soldiers for high-demand careers in today’s evolving workforce.

VTEC and Rivian Partner to Launch New Training Center at Fort Benning Army Base

The Veterans Training Empowerment Center (VTEC) is proud to announce an upcoming partnership with Rivian and the Army Career Skills Program (CSP) to launch a state-of-the-art training center at Fort Benning. Columbus, Georgia. This new initiative will focus on preparing transitioning service members for careers in the growing electric vehicle (EV) sector, with a special emphasis on training mobile service technicians to support Rivian’s vehicle fleet.

While a specific facility on post is still being finalized, the VTEC team is actively working to secure a building that can accommodate classroom learning and hands-on technical training. Once operational, the center will provide specialized instruction in EV systems, mobile service unit operations, and certifications in EV charging infrastructure and energy technologies.

The VTEC Training Program is coming to Fort Buchanan Army Base in Puerto Rico

The Veterans Training Empowerment Center (VTEC) is preparing to establish a new training center at Fort Buchanan in Puerto Rico. This initiative aims to provide transitioning service members, veterans, and their families with specialized training in high-demand fields such as electric vehicle technology, renewable energy, and mobile service operations.

VTEC is currently in the process of securing a suitable facility on base to accommodate this program.

This expansion aligns with VTEC's mission to offer industry-leading training and guaranteed job placement at no cost to participants, supported through grants and donations . By bringing these opportunities to Fort Buchanan, VTEC continues its commitment to empowering the military community with the skills and resources needed for successful civilian careers

Tesla Wall Charger & Universal Training Classroom Completed on

Fort Benning Army Base

The construction of the Tesla Wall Charger, Solar, & Cybertruck Installation Training Classroom at Fort Benning is complete. This cutting-edge facility is being built to equip transitioning soldiers with the practical skills to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Tesla Wall Chargers, solar energy systems, and Cybertruck-specific components.

Designed with versatility and real-world application in mind, the classroom features mock installation stations tailored for both residential and commercial scenarios. These setups include advanced wiring systems, solar panel configurations, and charging solutions for the Tesla Cybertruck. Trainees will engage in hands-on learning to simulate fieldwork, ensuring they gain experience with the latest technologies in sustainable energy and EV infrastructure.

VTEC–NSA Skilled Service Alliance

VTEC is proud to partner with National Service Alliance to train and deploy Gi-Techs technicians across Alabama and Georgia, providing essential electrical and plumbing repair and maintenance services. Through this collaboration, VTEC-trained technicians are gaining real-world experience by working on active service requests, ensuring they are fully prepared to meet industry demands.

This is a strong, mission-aligned partnership that not only supports local communities but also reinforces classroom and virtual instruction with valuable in-field training. Technicians apply what they’ve learned in real-time, bridging the gap between education and hands-on service—resulting in a highly skilled and job-ready workforce.
