
VTEC to Launch Rivian EV Mobile Service Technician Training School at Fort Benning in 2025

Columbus, GA – The Veterans Training Empowerment Center (VTEC) is proud to announce a groundbreaking initiative to establish a EV Mobile Service Technician Training School at Fort Benning Army Base in Columbus, Georgia, set to open in Fall 2025. This initiative is designed to provide transitioning soldiers, veterans, and military families with hands-on training and certification in electric vehicle (EV) maintenance and mobile service technology.
The program will equip participants with the skills necessary to diagnose, maintain, and repair electric vehicles in a mobile service environment, addressing the growing demand for skilled EV technicians across the country. Through specialized coursework and real-world training, students will gain the expertise required to thrive in high-demand careers within the sustainable energy and automotive industries.
