What is VTEC?
Veterans Training Empowerment Center (VTEC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering transitioning service members, veterans, National Guard, Reserve members, and their families through hands-on training in high-demand fields and job placements.

Who is eligible to participate in VTEC programs?
Our programs are open to transitioning service members, veterans, National Guard and Reserve members, and their immediate families, including spouses and children. Some programs are also available to non-veterans based on specific partnership requirements.

Where is VTEC located?
VTEC operates training centers on military bases and civilian locations across the U.S., including Fort Moore (GA). Additional centers are planned in Georgia, Alabama, Puerto Rico, and other states.

How long are the training programs?
Most training programs last up to 10 weeks. Each program is designed to provide hands-on experience and industry-recognized certifications.
What certifications will I earn?
Participants will receive industry-recognized certifications tailored to the field they train in, ensuring they are qualified for immediate employment.
Cost and Funding Questions

Is there a cost to participate in VTEC programs?
No. VTEC’s programs are funded through donations, grants, and other resources, ensuring participants incur no out-of-pocket costs.

What if I’m not eligible for funding?
Our financial support team works to ensure that all eligible participants can attend without personal expense.

What does the program cover?
VTEC programs include free training, tools, uniforms, transportation, and lodging for participants, ensuring no barriers to participation.

Does VTEC guarantee job placement?
Yes. Upon completing a VTEC program, participants are guaranteed job placement with one of our partner companies, including Tesla, Rivian, Amazon, and others.

How does VTEC support participants after training?
VTEC has partnered with organizations like Work for Warriors and People Ready to provide job placement support. Additionally, VTEC offers access to an exclusive job matching app for trainees.

Can I work in a different state after completing training?
Yes. VTEC’s certifications are nationally recognized, allowing participants to work in any state.

You’ll need a valid government-issued ID, proof of military service (if applicable), and documentation for funding eligibility (DD214).
